From the thousand-year-old kiln fire of Jingdezhen to modern handmade pottery, we cherish every piece of clay with craftsmanship
The International Artist Residency Center is the earliest department established by the Letian Pottery Studio in Jingdezhen. Since its inception in 2005, it has hosted thousands of artists from all over the world. The residency center can accommodate up to 12 artists at a time and can arrange residencies according to the artists' creative needs. We provide standardized studios and ceramic equipment, safe and hygienic accommodation, and semi-private workspaces for artists. Staff members will provide visiting artists with innovative city exploration experiences and assist in connecting with local artisans for professional support. The international on-site studio maintains long-term and good cooperative relationships with educational centers and multiple international universities and institutions, including Leksands Folkhogskola (Sweden), Helpmann Academy (Australia), Wesleyan University (USA), The University of Cincinnati (USA), and IASPIS (Sweden)
